Release Notes for May 15, 2014 Upgrade

Assemble Systems will be performing an upgrade of Assemble on Thursday, May 15th, 2014, from 8:00 PM-1:00 AM CDT. During this time frame, the Assemble web application may be unavailable for brief periods.

Users will not be required to update the add-in for Revit and AutoCAD.

Enhancements Added

Ping Identity and Assemble

The Assemble Systems log in process now permits the use of external identity providers for authentication through Ping Identity.  Once an organization or user’s domain has been mapped to Ping Identity within Assemble, their email/domain information will automatically be utilized to facilitate access. At this time, only Assemble support can modify domain/Ping Identity linkages.

1. Line items showing <MultipleValues> will no longer produce an error when selecting the row or any instance-level rows beneath it.

2. A custom Revit parameter with a name of "Total Cost" will appear in Assemble as "Total Cost (Custom)".

3. Bug around Revit parameters transformed has been fixed.

4. Model appeared to publish, but in Assemble, nothing appeared in the Grid or Viewer. Custom parameters exist in Revit without a parameter name, and in Assemble, parameters names are crucial. To resolve this issue, properties with no name in Revit will appear as (Blank) in Assemble.
