Assemble Systems will have a brief outage between 8:00 PM and midnight CST, on the evening of Wednesday, April 25th, 2018. During this time, your Assemble site may be offline temporarily. Updating your add-in is not required in this release. You can download the latest version of the add-in here.
3D Viewer Improvements
The process and feature for capturing/saving a screenshot has been dramatically improved. You can now capture screen shots of 2D as well. Use the Camera button in the 3D viewer or the sheets viewer to see the preview of your screenshot before saving.
In addition to this feature, fixes have been made to the behavior of the measurement tools when leaving a view while measurements are open. You will also see general performance improvements in working with the 3D viewer.
Enhancements in Excel Connect
Excel Connect can now update Assemble Properties! Users will have the ability to populate Assemble Property values from data managed within an Excel report. Simply specify your ‘Update Property’ within the column mapping configuration, and the values within that field will be published when you click ‘Update Assemble’.
Also, in addition to connecting to datasets from individual models within Assemble, you can now leverage the views your team has created. This means you can connect to datasets that have been filtered and organized through Assemble’s web interface rather than recreating them within Excel. Using views, you are no longer limited to a single model, but now have access to connect a spreadsheet to multiple, federated models from Assemble.
Enhancements in Primavera P6 Connect
Assemble now supports all database variations of Oracle Primavera P6 PPM. Easily link schedule data from Oracle Primavera P6 PPM Version 16.2 or higher to your BIM data in Assemble for review and reporting. To get more information about P6 integration, please contact email@example.com.
1. Improvements in tooltips behavior: The behavior of the mouseover tooltips has been refined to improve the user experience.
2. Publisher time out increase: The timeout variable for the publishing process has been changed from 60 to 180 minutes to allow for some of the "larger" publishes to complete, especially when publishing models with a large number of sheets.
If you have any questions regarding the update, please feel free to contact firstname.lastname@example.org. Stay Tuned! More features are on the way.
